Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy

1. Commitment Period and Security Deposit

  • By choosing a rental plan and paying the security deposit, the rider commits to a 90-day utilization of the bike.
  • During this period, the rider guarantees to pay the agreed-upon rentals for the entire duration.
  • If the rider fails to meet this 90-day commitment, the security deposit will be forfeited.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Riders have the flexibility to cancel their bike rental plan from the time of registering the bike request on the app until the assignment period.
  • If the rider cancels the rental plan within this window, the security deposit is 100% refundable.
  • Once the bike is assigned and the rental period has commenced, the rider is bound by the 90-day commitment, and the cancellation will result in forfeiting the security deposit.

3. Rental Plans

  • Gudz offers weekly, monthly, six-month, and annual rental plans on a prepaid basis.
  • Users can choose any of these plans and are required to make payments in advance.

4. Refund Policy

  • Rentals are non-refundable, except in cases of severe vehicle failure, which will be subject to an inspection process.
  • If a vehicle failure occurs, Gudz will conduct an inspection within 48 hours to assess the situation. Refunds will be processed based on the outcome of this inspection.
  • During the inspection period, if a standby vehicle is available, it will be provided to the rider to ensure their daily operations are not affected.
  • If a standby vehicle is not available, Gudz will issue a credit note for the affected period, ensuring that no rental charges are levied for the downtime.

5. Default on Payments

  • In the event of a payment default or breach of the rental agreement terms, the rider is required to clear all dues immediately.
  • Failure to clear the dues will result in a hold on the security deposit, and the account will be suspended until the outstanding amount is settled.

6. Damage to the Vehicle

  • Any damage caused to the vehicle will be evaluated, and the rider will be liable to cover the full cost of repairs.
  • Until the damages are settled, the rider will not be eligible for the return of their security deposit or any rental refunds.

7. Amendments to the Policy

Gudz reserves the right to amend the Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy at its discretion, with changes applicable to all existing and new customers. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance to all affected parties.
